Mother

Tears soak the path I wait upon—shadowed by your grace,

May I remain a child forever, nourished by a mother’s embrace.

And with my father’s added care, ever tireless and wide,

Feeding me while locking hunger deep within her side.

A vision of my mother flickers in every worldly snare,

How can such greatness fit in this short verse I dare?

She is the Earth—blooming countless lives with love,

Living each moment fully, never weary, ever above.

How can I describe the depth of her sacrifice so vast?

Even the gates of heaven were made in her image cast.

When God alone could not raise this world so grand,

He wove a mother’s refuge with His gentle hand.

Shelter in rains, warmth in snow—you’re my divine flame,

The only one who shields her child, unseeking fame.

She’d offer her life for her child, untouched by selfish plea,

Let none bring pain to any mother—ever, needlessly.

Hiding her sorrow, greeting with smiles so wide,

Fighting the world openly, with her child at her side.

This head of mine, dear mother, forever shall it bow

At your sacred feet—my poem, I gift it to you now.
